PTIC Beijing - Post recently coordinated the visit of the Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (eVAP) to Beijing last 19-22 February 2019, to promote strategic engagements for the development of the e-vehicle industry in the Philippines.

PTIC Beijing - Post recently coordinated the visit of the Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (eVAP) to Beijing last 19-22 February 2019, to promote strategic engagements for the development of the e-vehicle industry in the Philippines.

The eVAP Delegation was represented by Mr. Ferdinand I. Raquelsantos, Chairman Emeritus; Mr. Rommel T. Juan – Chairman; Mr. Edmund A. Araga – President; and Mr. Karl Lyndon B. Pacolor, Secretary.
The eVAP Delegation established collaboration with the Power Battery Applications Branch of China Industrial Association of Power Sources (CIAPS-PBA). They signed a MOU to establish a framework of cooperation through information sharing, trade, and investment facilitation, standards development and mutual recognition, media collaboration, and exchanges of delegation.
The eVAP Mission also visited manufacturing facilities of power battery in Beijing and Tianjin.
The CIAPS-PBA will be participating in the Electric Vehicle Summit of the Philippines to be held in Manila on 17-18 July 2019.
